Robotic Weld Technician I

Purpose: As an industry leader in providing manufacturing and agricultural solutions, Flory Industries is expanding its Welding Department as a result of continued success and growth. We are currently seeking to hire a motivated individual for the position listed below:

Robotic Welder Tech I: Robotic Welder Technician I is primarily responsible of producing welded assemblies that meet customer requirements in quality and output in a safe fashion

Requirements:
Robotically weld parts together according to drawings and specifications.
All Robotic operators must use tape measures to assure the proper location of welds.
Ensure all tasks are performed in the allotted time provided.
Clean all areas on parts of debris before application of welds.
Assemble parts according to provided drawings and specifications.
Set up fixtures and touch up programs.
Inspection of all welds to ensure conformance to specifications.
Assure that 1st off/1st Part is inspected and meets Quality Assurance requirements.
Removal of completed parts from work area and preparation for next production stage.
Completion of data entry and/or paperwork as required.
Basic maintenance of Welding and Set-up equipment in addition to ensuring gas and wire as required for the following shift

The ability to work and visualize abstract concepts and ideas
Have mathematical aptitude
Effective organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently or with supervision
Ability to read drawings, blueprints and specifications
Basic knowledge of fixture set up and touch up programs
Good knowledge of various measuring tools

Qualifications:
Works safely and follows all safety work rules according to company handbook, Safety Training, Policies and Procedures, etc
1-2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Robotic Welding
MIG Welding
Robotic programming
The use of Tape Measure, Calipers and other measuring tools
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
High School Diploma
Experience in Metal Fabrication

Physical Demands and Abilities:
Frequently lift, push, pull, bend, stoop, twist, grasp, grip, walk, stand and sit.
Occasionally squat, kneel, crawl, reach and climb
Indoor environment: cold, heat, dust, fumes, airborne particles, minimal to moderate noise levels, machinery, moving equipment.
Safety requirements: safety glasses, hearing protection, protective footwear and gloves
Fast-pace dynamic environment
Additional protective equipment may be required depending on task or job duty performed
